    Ordination

    Rev. Lee D. Knauf
    On Thursday, October 18, an Ordination Council convened to examine our deacon Lee D. Knauf for the Gospel ministry.Following the examination, the Council "Resolved: that being satisfied with the result of our examination, this Council called by the First Baptist Church of Oxford, approves the setting apart of the candidate, Lee D. Knauf, for the Gospel ministry, highly commending him for his humble spirit and careful handling of the Word of God during the theological questioning of the Council, we recommend that the First Baptist Church of Oxford proceed with the public service of ordination On Sunday, October 21, an Ordination Service was held and the church membership voted unanimously to ordain Lee Knauf.
