    Ghana Prayer List & Reports

    REPORT#3: All,
We want to say we are all doing very well. Tired but well. We all want to Thank You for most of all your prayers and then your support us. I have tried sending several pictures so you can see the children and our program but I can not get them to go through. I have tried several times and am wasting valuable internet minutes. We will try again with a picture of completion of our first VBS. I have attached one for now. Sorry! We will update you all with pictures as soon as we can or definately on our return.
We have completed now 2 days of VBS at Gospel Baptist Church in Ashaiman. Our first day we held 2 sessions due to some scheduling around school hours. The lchildren were supposed to be out of school on the 28th of July but were extended to the 3rd of Aug. So, we are holding our VBS at night instead of the morning. Our first day we had very young children in the morning, but there is not a better age to start with the gospel but with very young ears. That same day God blessed us with 120 older students. 1 received Christ as Lord and Savior(PRAISE GOD!!!!) and several were thinking on what was said. One our second day we had 172 children and 2 accepted Christ.(PRAISE GOD). We are looking forward to possibly 300 tomorrow or Friday the 3rd of Aug. This is according to the local pastor. We are praying that God will give us a great number and that many will respond and understand the gospel and receive Christ. It is all because of you that this is able. May God richly bless you and we covet your prayers for us. We will soon be moving on to another church and I know this will be hard for the team, just look at the pictures and you will see they love these children. Again we can not say thank you enough to all of you and we will try to write soon as God allows.
    Serving Christ,

    Truth Alive VBS 2007

We enjoyed a great week at Truth Alive 2007.   Each day we averaged nearly 35 children grades 1-6, and each evening we averaged nearly 40 teens grades 7-12.  The children and teens spent time learning VERSES, singing SONGS, giving to an offering to raise money for a NEW BUS, hearing great preaching from GOD'S WORD, and of course, playing some unique, memorable GAMES.  Throughout the the week the children and teens raised over $560 dollars to be added to the new bus fund.  MANY decisions were made and at least ONE young man came to know the Lord Jesus as his Savior.  Praise the Lord!!
Several church members took pictures throughout the week and have shared those for you to have the opportunity to see just a glimpse of the fun they had at Truth Alive.  ENJOY!!
