    AWANA

    Another year of AWANA is over.  Thank you to all who served in AWANA this year; your ministry was a blessing.  We look forward to seeing everyone at the picnic on Saturday and then again in the fall when AWANA starts up again!

    Summer Suppers

    Summer is almost here which means the beginning of our Summer Suppers on Wednesday evenings.  Our Suppers kick off on Wednesday, May 27.  The supper will start at 6 pm followed by an exciting time of prayer and praise at 7 pm.  We look forward to seeing you there!
     
     

    Baptismal Service

    We will be having a baptismal service this Sunday, May 24, following the Morning Worship Service.  If you need to follow the Lord in believer's baptism, please contact one of the pastors.

    Congratulations!


    Congratulations to Jim and Beth Hockenberger
    on the birth of Joshuah James Hockenberger.
    Joshuah was born on Monday, April 6 at 8:30 p.m.
    He weighed in at 6 pounds, 4 ounces and 19 1/4 inches.

    Easter Sunday Services

     
    This Sunday, April 12 is Easter Sunday.  We have a special order of service that day including:
    7:45 am - Sunrise Service
              8:30 am - Continental Breakfast
                      9:15 am - Sunday School for all ages
              10:30 am - Morning Worship with
    "A Picture of Calvary" Easter Cantata and the Lord's Table

    Please note that there will not be an evening service this Sunday. 
    We look forward to seeing you on Easter Sunday!

     

    Special Revival Services

    Evangelist Richard Coyle will be at First Baptist April 5-9 for our revival services. 
    Services will be held on Sunday at our normal times,
    Monday - Friday at 7 pm, with a special kids crusade Monday through Friday.
    There will be special music at every service.
    Nursery will be available for children under 3 years of age.

    Mudde Family

    The Mudde Family will be ministering through music in our services on Sunday, March 22.  The Mudde family travels in North America "singing the Gospel of Jesus Christ".
    Please join us for this special time of worshiping the Savior through music!

    Children's Christmas Program

    We had a wonderful Children's Christmas Program on Sunday! Kids in every age group, from the nursery to the teens, had a part in this special service.

    Harvest Party 2008

     
    The church family met at the Knaufs' home on Friday, October 3 for the annual church harvest party! It was a great time of food, games and a (chilly) hay ride.

    Church Picnic and Baptism at Big Fish Lake

        On Sunday, August 31, we went to a county park and had a church picnic, song service, a message and an outdoor baptism! Two believers, Jocelyn West and Elisa Bush, were publicly immersed, declaring their faith in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection!

    It was a time of good food, great fellowship, "so-so" volleyball, and beautiful weather!

    Baptismal Service

    Next Sunday afternoon, August 31 @ Big Fish Lake during our Afternoon Service we will be immersing believers who want to be obedient to the Lord’s command.

    9:15 am - Sunday School

    10:30 - Morning Worship

    1:15 - Picnic at Big Fish

    2:30 - Afternoon Service

    If you have not followed the Lord in believer’s baptism, and would like to, please see one of the Pastors.

    Children’s Videos

    The children’s videos in the Church Office are available for your family to check out and return. Many of the videos are educational.

    ‘Finish Your Milk!’

    All teens involved with the ‘MILK’ Bible study this summer should check with Pastor Jeff ASAP in order to be duly considered to be in the DELTA FORCE this Fall!

    King James Bible Reading Club

    The K.J.B.R.C. continues this Wednesday, August 27, at 5:45 in the Pastor’s study. Bring a friend & your Bible!

    Ladies Bible Study

    Be sure to reserve your order for a copy of the Bible Study, The Secret to Contentment. The first Bible Study is scheduled for September 16 @ 10 am.

    Mid -Week Meal & Meditation

    Join us this Wednesday, August 27, at 6 pm for dinner. Sign up in the foyer. If you are unable to attend at 6, please join us at 7 pm for a time of praise and prayer.

    Shingle Support

    We need $20K by October so that we can re-shingle the church roof. Please prayerfully consider contributing a special offering each week as we take care of God’s property!

    A few of them have suffered a lot of loss from the flooding.

      Eleven children had a great week of camp! 
    There were some very important decisions made by our campers. 
    Pray that these decisions made at Camp CoBeAc will have a life-long impact!

    Taken Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at approx. 6:00 a.m., Delano Road, Oxford, MI. 8 1/2 inch beard; approx. 20 lbs. Called in by brother and grandfather. 20 gauge shotgun/pump action; #5 shot Winchester ammunition.
